Changing Your Password

 


Students and Adjunct Faculty

Students' initial password is their last 6 digits of their Social Security Number.

If you have changed your password and forgotten it, you will have to submit a request to have your password reset. To make that request, click here.

Jane A. Doe is a student at Oklahoma City Community College. She wants to login to the email system and change her password.


The first thing to do is go to the web site (http://email.occc.edu), click on the Login to Your Email Account link, and key in her username and current password.



 

Once logged in, the user would click on the Preferences link in the lower lefthand corner of the screen.



 

After that link is selected, the user sees a screen on which they can input several items of information including a new password. After keying in the new password twice, clicking on the Save button changes the password.




 

The user will be returned to the main email screen.



 

This new password will be used for access to student/adjunct email, MineOnline, and the college public wireless network.
